Upon receipt of your goods, you must immediately:

  • Check the condition of the goods and packaging.
  • Verify the quantity against the shipping bill.
  • Sign the shipping bill if everything is correct.

If the goods are damaged or the quantity is incorrect, you must follow these steps for it to be accepted as a complaint:

  • Accept the goods.
  • Photograph the damage from different angles if possible.
  • Report the transport damage.

Note on visible transport damage

In case of visible damage, ask the driver to help you note the damage on the waybill/PDA before signing the receipt. Noting the damage on the waybill proves that there was damage or shortage upon receipt.

If you do not want to accept the delivery due to the damage, you have the right to refuse it before signing for the shipment.

Complaint

If the goods have damage or defects that are hidden by the packaging and therefore not discovered until unpacking, you must submit a written complaint within 6 working days of receipt.

The shipping company may need to inspect the damage. Therefore, you may not return, sell or repair the damaged goods. You must store both the goods and the packaging in an appropriate manner until the matter is resolved.
